My daughter Jill cover all I could have said about Lora except look out heaven here comes Lora. She was a force to be reckoned with and a heart as big as they came. I'm so glad I got to spend time with her at my 80th birthday party thanks to Amanda. Lora raised some wonderful and loving children I am fortunate enough to call family and friends.

Jim - my heart goes out to you on the loss of your mother. I hope your memories and closeness of family help in this time. Reading about her life makes me sure the effect she had will be long lasting. God bless you, your former classmate, Lori McCaig Tierney

Our hearts go out to all the Family and Friends of Lora. I send love and prayers especially to Jim, Sally, Lori, Amanda, Bea and Michelle. Lora's passing will leave a big void. She was larger than life and the hole in your hearts will need lots of time to begin to heal. Lora was a bold, strong, beautiful, complex, giving, loud (lol) and loving woman. She was a Mom, a Life Partner, a Caregiver, a Grandmother, Great Grandmother, a Sister, an Aunt, a Friend, a doer, a trailblazer, a woman who lived by her own rules, with strong beliefs, a wonderful big laugh and an even bigger heart. I am happy you are released from suffering and got exactly what you wanted, peace and rest. You have touched many, many lives. You will be remembered forever. You are honestly unforgettable. Please know that we send love to you and much sympathy to all that loved and knew her and had their loves touched by hers. I even have her to thank for my helping to choose my name, Jill. I love my name, so thank you Aunt Lora. Rest in sweet peace. And please leave heaven in one piece until we all meet again. OX Love Always, Your Niece Jill (Wilhelm) and Tom McKee
